If you can't access or afford the vision care you need, or if your eye care practice has been affected by disaster, explore the options below to view available programs.
If you can’t afford the vision care you need, VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificates and mobile clinics may be able to help.
Multiple programs are available to assist community members and eyecare practices affected by disaster.
VSP Vision™ Eyes of Hope® gift certificates, sometimes called vouchers, provide adults and children in need with access to eye exams and new glasses at no cost through a VSP network doctor in their community.
Gift certificates provide coverage for a comprehensive eye exam and a complete pair of prescription glasses with single vision or lined multifocal lenses.
If you already have a VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificate, find a local VSP network doctor where you can make an appointment.
Gift certificates are distributed through our national network of community partners.
Students through 19 years of age: Contact a school nurse. School nurses and administrators can request a VSP Eyes of Hope gift certificate (formerly Sight for Students) through one of our education partners, which include the National Association of School Nurses, California School Nurses Organization, Communities In Schools, and the National Head Start Association.
Adults and children of any age: Contact one of our community partners. Reach out to Prevent Blindness, your local Lions Clubs chapter, members of the National Association of Community Health Centers, or UnidosUS and let them know that you’re in need of vision care.
VSP Eyes of Hope mobile clinics travel the U.S. in partnership with local charities and VSP network doctors to provide no-cost eye exams and glasses for communities in need. View the calendar below to see if there’s an upcoming event near you.
