VSP Vision Earns 2023 Top Hospitals and Health Systems Recognition From DiversityInc

|

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif.VSP Vision recently earned distinction as a 2023 Top Hospitals and Health Systems by DiversityInc, recognizing the company’s excellence in promoting workplace fairness through talent strategy, supplier diversity practices and philanthropic engagement. VSP Vision was the only vision care company to receive this specialty recognition from DiversityInc, the preeminent source of human capital diversity, equity and inclusion data and insights.

“DE&I isn’t the responsibility of one individual or department—it’s the responsibility of every VSP Vision employee,” said VSP Vision President and CEO Michael Guyette. “This outlook enables us to create solutions that support individual healthcare needs by empowering human potential within our workforce and with our clients, members and network doctors.”

“I am extremely proud of VSP Vision’s commitment to the intentional work of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, which puts people first – whether it’s our workforce or the communities we serve,” said VSP Vision Chief Diversity Officer Marvin Davenport. “As we continue our DE&I journey, we will depend on the extraordinary spectrum of VSP Vision talent to lead in this important space and become an inspiration for other organizations.”

DiversityInc’s Specialty Lists, including the Top Hospitals and Health Systems list, assess companies on a metrics-driven evaluation without a preconceived set number of companies on each list. Companies are evaluated within the context of their own industries on verified policies, practices, and procedures and the list results are derived exclusively from survey submissions from employers with at least 750 employees in the United States.
