Registration Now Open for the PECAA Annual Meeting Where Storytelling Will Take Center Stage

|

Boca Raton, Florida - Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for its Annual Meeting taking place April 9-11 at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. This signature event will combine Orlando’s magical setting with the PECAA Max community’s largest opportunity for connection and inspiration, featuring best-in-industry education, peer networking and the latest industry innovations from PECAA’s vendor partners.

“The PECAA Annual Meeting is always infused with unique aspects of the host city to make an engaging and memorable program for our members,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “Doctors and their teams who join us in Orlando will experience larger-than-life ideas that stretch the imagination and provide actionable strategies to support the success of their practice.”

In a nod to the power of storytelling, for which Orlando is known, the three-day event will create unique ways for attendees to build their brand by sharing their special message, dream big about their practice, and craft a new narrative for the future. Central to the program are two dynamic keynote speakers with backgrounds and messages that will capture the imaginative and inspirational spirit of the setting.

By popular demand, this year’s event will expand the amount of available Peer-to-Peer time, where doctors gather in small groups for a facilitated discussion on carefully curated topics designed to elevate every aspect of a private practice.

2025 PECAA Annual Meeting Highlights:

  • Keynotes from:
    • Matthew Luhn, a 30-year Pixar storytelling guru behind The Simpsons, the Toy Story series, Monsters Inc., and other animated hits. With a focus on leveraging the art and science of storytelling for business success, Luhn will teach attendees how to use the emotional power of stories to connect with patients, lead teams and create a brand identity that sticks.
    • Chaunté Lowe, a professional high jumper who has earned the credentials of American record holder, four-time Olympian, three-time World Champion and 12-time US National Champion. After training for the Tokyo Olympics while undergoing chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, Lowe shares her journey of resilience to empower leaders to build a culture where teamwork, collaboration and collective strength are the foundation.
  • An expansive Partner Pavilion where PECAA’s vendor partners will showcase the industry’s newest products and services.
  • Clinical education and four (4) COPE-Accredited CE hours for doctors, as well as unparalleled business education for managers and staff through hands-on workshops.
  • Memorable social gatherings, including PECAA’s legendary Member and Vendor Appreciation Event.

On the 2024 PECAA Annual Meeting, Nicole Zangler, OD, of Brenart Eye Clinic in Yorkville, IL, said, “The highlight of last year’s meeting was the roundtables and that we had opportunities to speak with other people who had practices of our size and the same type of issues that we had.” Brenart Eye Clinic CFO Tony Zangler continues, “It’s that camaraderie that’s created when talking to other optometrists and practice professionals.”

To continue PECAA’s tradition of enabling positive change in the communities that host each Annual Meeting through PECAA Gives, attendees will have the opportunity to support a local nonprofit. This year’s beneficiary is Page 15, which is dedicated to enriching Central Florida’s cultural landscape by developing and growing educational and creative literary arts programs.
