PECAA Celebrates 20 Years, Amplifies Commitment to Protect and Promote Private Practice
 

Boca Raton, Fla. - This year, Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) is celebrating two decades of protecting and promoting private practice, thanks to its vibrant membership community and the support of vendor partners and a dedicated team of employees all invested in helping member practices thrive.

“We’re humbled to celebrate 20 years of service to the private practice community. Most importantly, this milestone provides PECAA the opportunity to reinforce our commitment to supporting members for the next 20 years and beyond,” said PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “We understand the challenges associated with running an eye care business are constantly evolving. Through regular connections with doctors and their teams, PECAA remains focused on how we can best shape our programs to help their businesses thrive, allowing members to focus on what matters most - providing high-quality patient care.”

The anniversary celebration will kick off with a champagne toast during Vision Expo. PECAA Max members are invited to visit the PECAA booth (#404) on Thursday, March 12, at 4 p.m. to raise a glass in honor of the past, present and future of the PECAA community. The yearlong observance will be marked with announcements about continued investment in PECAA’s member doctors, including expanded business advisory services and the introduction of innovative resources and products designed to help members increase patient loyalty and boost bottom-line performance.

Established in 2006 by a small group of optometrists searching for camaraderie and resources, PECAA has grown into what many members refer to as the most connected community of independent eye care professionals with a commitment to collective growth and success that remains from the start.

PECAA Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Lance Anderson, OD, on the origin of the company, “We created PECAA 20 years ago with the hope of forming a community where doctors could come together to share ideas, successes as well as work through the unique challenges of private practice ownership.
