VSP Vision Announces Leadership Updates to Supply Chain and Provider and Industry Solutions

|

RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. – With a continued focus on growth and commitment to meeting the evolving needs of clients, members and network doctors, today, VSP Vision™ announced the following organizational changes:

Scott Hopeck has been appointed to the new role of chief commercial officer (CCO), where he will lead commercial strategy, including supply chain sales and global business development, to drive value and improved customer experiences across the enterprise. Hopeck will provide end-to-end oversight of VSP Vision’s supply chain business operations while enhancing collaboration and prioritization.

“Scott is a values-driven leader whose experience in helping teams achieve their full potential by ensuring a customer-centric focus makes him a great fit for this new role,” VSP Vision president and CEO Michael Guyette said. “His deep expertise will help us maximize our enterprise capabilities, leverage our economies of scale and elevate the delivery of our high-value products and services to our stakeholders.”

Prior to joining VSP Vision, Hopeck spent nearly 20 years at iHeartMedia, where he most recently served as a division president, driving growth and change across business operations and sales, setting strategy, and strengthening company culture.

Reporting to Hopeck will be a new leadership role focused on enterprise supply chain operational excellence. Jason Prodouz, chief product officer of Visionworks®, has assumed the role of president of enterprise supply chain operations at VSP Vision. Working with VSP Vision supply chain business leadership, Prodouz will be responsible for developing and integrating a cohesive and forward-looking supply chain strategy across optical, eyewear, and retail organizations to deliver quality products that meet diverse needs. In addition to Prodouz, the leaders of VSP’s eyewear and optics businesses, supply chain sales, and sales enablement, will report to Hopeck.

Michelle Skinner, chief growth officer, has assumed a new role as chief provider and industry solutions officer, leading the newly formed provider & industry solutions division, where she and a dedicated team will advance the company’s core commitment to deliver industry-leading programs and services for doctors and evolve and strengthen industry partnerships through a shared vision of success and mutual benefit for members, clients and network doctors. Skinner will continue to lead network programs, including VSP Premier Edge™, provider relations, enterprise strategic partnerships and PECAA.

“Michelle’s extensive industry experience and constant focus on one of our primary stakeholders—our network doctors—makes her a natural fit to lead efforts that will support the profession of optometry and strengthen industry partnerships,” Guyette said. “In this new role, Michelle will drive key efforts that extend our focus on fueling private practice's growth and long-term success.”

Both Hopeck and Skinner will report to Guyette. VSP Vision’s other executive team members will continue in their respective roles.
